anybody know tha best way to take out tha plastic insert on tha floorboard around tha shifter to change out tha shift boot and shift knob...(wanna put either a black suede with yellow stitching or black leather with yellow stitching down for tha boot....gunna hopefully shorten tha shifter while ive got all that off it cause i figure there is no better time to do then at that point instead of removing tha new boot later and it not fittin right after shortening tha shifter

you would probably need to remove the console and pull the boot out from underneath it. idk for sure though, just my best guess.

to remove the mini console? you just pull up on it.

Yeah, there should just be a couple of clips holding it in...just don't go all :hulk: on it. haha
