"Integrated CAT?", Not according to this diagram:Not that I know of. Do the V8s have cats in their manifolds as well? if so then I highly doubt anyone makes CARB legal headers for it.
If they don't have integrated cats and replacing the stock manifolds doesn't remove any cat... then I can't see any issue but that doesn't mean much because you could still fail visual inspection I guess?"Integrated CAT?", Not according to this diagram:
Yes people have run JTR headers and been happy with them. It would be best to get the coated version but if you didn't I would highly recommend getting it coated because the mild steel will rust and corrode otherwise.has anyone ran jtr headers? my cat literally broke in half. so I just ordered a jtr shorty for my 2005 I4.
I don't know if there is any benefit really. If there is, I'd imagine it isn't much.Any performance benefit with the magnaflow part on the 3.5L i5? I live in CA which technically it isn't legal for, but since it has a cat i doubt the guy doing the smog inspection would give it a second look. Magnaflow's site makes it sound like its just a replacement part, not a performance part. Not sure its worth the cost and effort if there isn't a performance boost.
I thought Jakey stopped making them. If you can get me a link for somewhere to purchase them I will gladly add them to the list.
