I changed to an aftermarket head unit and no longer need this iPod adapter for the factory stereo. This kit splices into two wires from the XM system and uses 1 of the 2 XM bands. This uses the traditional iPod connector, not the lighting connector. Model # PA11-GM by USA Spec.
Your truck must be equipped with factory XM hardware, but active XM service is not required.

Asking $20 + shipping.

Yes it is...this used to retail for $150.00 and I think I paid $125 several years ago. This product is now discontinued. (This kit still goes for ~$100 on eBay too).

I know it reads GM, but anyway if it fits a 2008 Jeep Patriot, I take it?

The harness connection is specific to GM, so I don't think it would even be close to fitting a Jeep vehicle.
