I was interested in doing a down fire box with two Fosgate 10" P3 shallow mount subs under the backseat in my crewcab. I was wondering what the minimum amount of space i should leave for the subs to beat. I was thinking around and inch but i definetly don't want them hitting the floor

You will probably have problems finding space for the 10s. I've heard of it done but you will have to jack the seat up a lot.

There is a guy that does dual 8" boxes (upward firing) that look pretty nice, I myself plan on checking them out when I am ready. Even those require you to jack the seat up a bit IIRC though.
