haha, i dont know how else to say it but when i back up i hear a squeeking sound from underneath the center of my truck... when i go forward i do not hear it, or when im on the gas going in reverse i do not hear it. Also the faster i go backwards the faster it squeeks.... Could it be my diff oil needs to be changed, or maybe my drive shaft?

ok so it could be that the U joints are bad, carrier bearing is bad... and to solve this problem, squirt astro glide along the bottom of my truck.... lol

Would it be a bad idea to spray some white lithium grease onto the u-joints and see if the noise goes away or quiets down?

at each end of the driveshaft, one into your transmission yoke, and the other into your differential
