I had a Street Scene Gen I bumper-cover for a couple years.

Then I had a minor accident in '09 and replaced the front bumper with a painted one, and a painted OE valence.

When I installed the SS bumper-cover I tried various things to eliminate the squeak, including a underlying layer of some flexible sheet of some material I found at Lowes (can't recall just what it was).

Many 355 owners here have the SS Gen I and Gen II covers.
I know some of you smart guys have solved this problem.

a) Do you have the chrome bumper underneath?
b) What did you do to eliminate the squeak?

Thanks!

It's rubbing on your fenders, you'll have to trim it a little bit. Let me see if I can find the pics to show you what I'm talking about.
