well, it seems like some of you members are good at just about everything, so i have a stupid question for you.

do you guys rip your masking tape off with the paint still wet, or wait until dry? if you wait, how long?

what about areas that require more than one coat? do you rip off the tape wet, then re-tape it for another coat? seem like a lot of work that way...

i dont want to seem goofy, but what do you mean?

if i paint a car in the booth and i leave it over night with a bake/heat cycle, the paint is dry.

if i am spraying multi-colored grpahics wiht base coat, the paint is dry while masking and unmasking, but base dries in liek 10-15 mins.

if you pull tape while paint is wet, it will flow and possibly run onto what you had taped off.
