If the connection is being made then temperature is not an issue. More than likely some connection is cpming loose

You may need one of Supermodulation's auxiliary wire heaters.
I have had a couple of week long single digit temperatures
My amp has got some age on it. It has a bad connection or a short it because one sub makes loud feedback most of the time. If everyone thinks the amp is the problem it will be a good excuse to get a new one.
As in my head unit i have the remote wire ran to a fuse in the fuse box to let it be a switched 12 as i didnt want to pay big money for the adaptor that makes one. Also i did try to jump it off by running the remote straight to the 12V power on my amp with no feedback from it so i would think that that would take the remote wire out of the equation.
I just dont understand why when i switched power wires it worked for a period of time before the next freeze we had. I thought about the possibility of a loose wire so i actually removed all wires and put them back to make sure they are tight with no result
alright thank you i will probably just break down and get a new amp once spring comes to stay 70 one day 20 the next right now. i actually have a question for you supermods i will pm you if you dont mind.
