You may need one of Supermodulation's auxiliary wire heaters.

The only way low temperature can effect wiring is if a connection is iffy.
Otherwise, for the wire itself, the lower the temperature the better.

In general, same for electronics.
Electronic equipment is happier at lower temperatures, down to a point.

Computer-based stuff, like navigation systems, doesn't do well at temperatures below zero or so. Operating them in lower temperatures won't hurt them, but they may not function correctly.
