Get a test light and test the power feed at the amp. Should be hot.
Check the remote turn on. Should be hot when radio is on.
A more likely theory than 'my fuse and wires are cold' is that the HU is not energizing the remote turn on circuit properly.
Or the amp is failing since you did remote feed directly to the battery and the amp still failed to turn on.
How much gas did you burn up by idling in the garage for an hour? And were you in the garage for that time period (lots of c02 building up)? How cold was the garage? Is Tennessee experienced a hard freeze right now (extended period of time below 32 degrees).
