Rich, eye gets done on Tues morning. looking at a L96 6.2 truck eng. 403hp
found a few 2010-2012's low mi. in salvage yards. direct bolt in's
I was expecting the efan to be done :hide:
It's probably just me but I'd rather have a turbo rather than a LS3 swap. A swap would lead to new drive axle or re-gearing, stiffer suspension, new trans.... blah blah blah and just to much power (< can't believe I said that). But turbos are nothing but a freaking ton of fun with minor mods.
So this low posts new comer says ME LIKE IT LOTS!

Ls3 on the V8 trucks wouldn't take that much. Drop in and tune for the most part. If you wanted to keep the 4L60 that is.

someone correct me if I am wrong. I ain't to proud to take a internet beating. Lol

edit: of course swap all the accessories and oil pan to the ls3 before dropping it back in.
that would be a nice up grade AL
Its a Supercharger
Thats what I get for responding to posts while driving down the highway.

I'd still take it over a LS3 swap
waiting on James for the water pump and E-fan install,
I kinda leaning toward the Pro Charger at this time, quick install
bolts right on. can change boost levels easy. price is not to bad
I can do the intercooler at any time, so i can custom build it to my
truck after i get the unit up and running. also my new cam is a good
match for it.
Nice find
this will be a summer project if i decide to go with it. the pass side bracket
assm are for a SS Trailblazer $1550.00 I can get the head unit off E-Bay
around $1000.00 then misc parts are still needed to make a kit up to
fit a Colly. so it will be around $3000-$3500 without the inter cooler.

Gonna be a fun project!:th_woot:
Once the weather breaks we'll get down there and replace your water pump and SFAN4500 PCM conversion.
Ok James
Holy shit, my dyno shop called last night,
said they were swapping out a 6.2 500+ hp eng
for a customer and putting in a 1000hp TT eng. he
wants to know if i am interested in buying it.
said it's priced cheap. they want to get rid of
it fast for the guy. he has no room to store it.
