Can someone confirm if the following trailer hitch came from the factory? I got it from the junk yard. I’m trying to wire everything together but it’s not matching up.

What year truck and what isn't matching up?

I believe there was some sort of change-over in the rear rails after 08 that impacted hitch install. Yes that looks like a factory hitch. What year did it come off of, and what year is your truck?

My truck is an 08, I pulled it off an 07-10, it was a while ago, barely got around to beelining it. It bolted up the same with the 4 bolts on each side.

Here’s a comparison from my old bumper (bottom) and the one with the hitch.

OK, you got it to bolt up. Good start. I'll roll back to Cart's question. What isnt matching up? Wiring? Or is there some physical interference?
