Hello all! this is my first time posting on here. I hope I'm posting this in the right spot... I have a 05 GMC Canyon. I came home from work yesterday, everything was fine and until i went to go leave again about 2 hours later. started the truck up fine then looked at my Instrument Cluster to see nothing was going on, no power, tach, mph, no lights on the cluster, nothing. So, i turned the truck off thinking maybe it was just a glitch And went to start it again and now it wont do anything not even turn over. cd player works lights work and the only thing on the Instrument Cluster coming on the the check engine light.

Check your fuses, I would think its the TBC or PCM-A fuse, here's what the truck does with no PCM-A fuse. (not my video)

Also, these trucks act weird when the battery starts to go, so If its not a fuse then I would check the battery.

Thanks. okay i will check fuses. i did try jumping it off and it didnt change anything. i was reading that it could be either the ignition switch or a sensor for the gear changer. the ignition switch kinda made sense to me but i dont know...

I had the "Reduce Power" issue in June. It would not reduce the power, it would just die. Twice I was in situations where it was pretty scary. It was my PCM acting up. My gauges never acted different or stopped working though. I hope it's just a goofy ground or something little.
