On the 06 chevy colorado I recently bought the left side turn signal bulb wont flash when I hit the turn signal colum, right side works perfectly fine. The bulb will turn on and stay on it just wont flash on the front left side, but the rear bulb will. I replaced the bulb and it didnt change a thing, I checked the fuse box and the fuse was good still. I tried to snug up the fuse box bolts and those where mostly snug and no difference after that. This weekend I plan to take a look at the wiring with a friend, is their anything I should try or take a look at before this weekend anyone can think off?

So, the rear bulb blinks, but the front one stays on solid? I've never heard of that! Only thing I can think of is the wrong bulb is installed. Did you just replace with what was already in there, or have someone look up the correct bulb for you? The correct bulb should be a 3757A. The only other issue that we have all had with these trucks is ground packs. Is everything else working correctly? If so, it's not the ground packs, but you can search this site to find the location and suggested repair for bad grounding issues.

Yeah everything else works fine, like if I turn on the hazards all the turn signals blink besides that front left. I'll double check to see if it's the wrong bulb tomorrow after class but I had the person at autozone look it up for me real quick. I'll also be sure to take a look at the ground packs when I get the chance, thanks for the response I appreciate it

One more idea. Do you have trailer light wiring on your truck? Under the truck between the Driver's side frame rail and the spare tire is where the trailer wiring harness is located. Basically there are two big plugs that come together and plug into the trailer light wiring harness. Here's a picture:

On the left side of this you can tell that there is a male and a female harness that plug into this connector. Try unplugging this and removing this harness and see if that corrects the problem. You can remove this and just plug the other 2 plugs together to eliminate the possibility of this being the issue. You can replace this pretty cheaply on Amazon, Ebay or other sites.
Let us know if that works. The only other possibility I can think of is a bad ground at that bulb.

When I looked originally I didnt see any but I will definitely double check once I'm out of class, I will also look into the other suggestions you recommend to see if their is an issue with any of those.
So I just the chance to take a look at the truck and its the correct bulb, theirs no trailer light harness attached in the back of the truck, I used a voltage meter to check that the just still works and it does. So I'm thinking it's the ground for that bulb. I'm gonna look for the ground on it now but do you have any idea where the ground is located in case I cant find it?

On each fender under the hood is a ground pack. On the passenger's side it's behind the breather box. On the driver's side, its behind the ABS system. You'll see a 10MM bolt that holds a ring terminal in place. Attached to that is a little black box and each one will have about 6-8 black wires going into it. Sometimes the mounting bolt gets loose and there's not good ground. You can also pry open the little box and there are lots of contacts for all of the wires. They sometimes get corroded and sometimes just become loose and don't make good connection. My recommendation to everyone is to cut that little black box off and put ring terminals on all of those wires and mound them directly to the fender using that bolt. Ive never had a problem with the one on the driver's side, but had lots of problems with the one on the passenger's side, so I've used the ring terminals. The wires are small, so I doubled up and put two in some of the crimp on wire terminals. Haven't had any of the odd electrical problems since then.
Thank you for the help, I'm gonna try and tighten the bolts first see if that fixes it if not I'll go buy the connectors I'll need to ground them each individually
