Two tone interior

Hey everyone.. Planning a project and need some input. My '05 'rado is a WT with the tan interior. I want to do a black console, seats, and floor (haven't decided on rubber/vinyl or carpet yet) and keep the rest of the interior as is. I am planning on doing the bench to bucket mod and just buying the ebony seat covers (from '08+ model years i believe) for both sides since my current ones are torn up. Anyone done this before? Any pics? Also will the covers for an '08+ fit on '05 seats? I just don't want to order stuff/cut my seats up and find out that it looks like crap or doesn't fit... I am kinda a noob when it comes to modding

Sounds like a great project to tackle .... Do have a console ready or making one ???
I have no input to offer since I have not tried the mods you spoke of.... Someone will chime in !!!! Have you searched for any mods such as the ones you have planned ???

I was planning on ordering a factory one from car-parts.com since they bolt right in and are usually cheap ($50-$60 plus ship). I will start a build thread once I get everything assembled.. I think it should look good.

I have actually decided on going a different route.... After reading the thread below i decided to get some comfy S-10 blazer seats and just switch the tracks over. Seems like a lot less work. I can get the seats locally, and then the only thing I have to order is the console and the carpet/vinyl floor. When i do this project I will make sure to take plenty of pics and write up a how to in case anyone else on the Nation wants to do it. :355group:
