Auto trans is out. What a heavy pig that damn thing is. The 5 speed is out. Now to swap over flywheel

Flywheel bolts are m10x1.0x23.7 sae 4037
Pressure plate bolts are m8x1.25x15.5


So the 5 speed is in. Next step is engine and trans harness

Well made some great progress today. Carpet is in and the seats as well as the mini manual console. I got the engine trans harness out of the parts truck. And im halfway thru removing that harness from my truck. The shifter cable is out.

Well the engine/ trans harness is in. Trans is wired in. Left to do is. Swap valve covers clean the seats. Reinstall gas tank, air box, washer fluid tank. Top off tans with some 75w 90. Bleed clutch

Clutch is bled best I can myself. Cleaned out gas tank and am in process of reinstalling it. The overflow tank and air box is in. The manual pcm is in

Newer Valve cover is on as well as the newer coils and the new acdelco iridium spark plugs. Intake manifold is back on so all I really lack now is installing the gas tank

Well guys the truck only needs gas and gear oil for a test drive. Battery, gas tank, air box, headlights, grill all back on maiden voyage coming up after a quick trip for gas and gear oil

She lives again. Started the truck up for the first time today in at least 6 months. Still need to mail out my pcm to the mad scientist and top off the trans with some fresh 75w 90 and get the clutch bled better. It wont even engage currently. Also discovered while airing up the tires that the driver side upper control arm bushings have play in them so those need addressed as well as my W leaf springs but for now I'm happy to have it running again

Took the truck for a drive today. Feels pretty good. Still have a few thing to button up. Im gonna swap upper control arms, Knuckles, hubs, brakes, and ball joints as one piece while i await my pcm back from supermod.

Truck is all trailered up and ready to go down to the shop. Gonna install the pcm and do the case relearn. Then emissions and registration.
