I'm about to buy a set of h3 leather manual seats from lkq for a great deal. I really want heated seats. Has anybody ever installed universal heated seats before? Here's the 2 different kits I'm looking at.

Dorman Products - 628-040

These are made by Dorman so I figure they should be a really good quality seat heater kit.

The Install Bay IBHS1 Dual Universal Car Seat Heater Kit

Here's the other kit. I'm not sure of the name brand but a very reputable company backs them.

Any info would be great. Thanks!

There is a company that uses them all the time along with kat skins I think they work best based on reviews

Well I've heard of the katskins but these seats are already leather. Just not heated.

The Dorman kit looks nice for $70/seat. You gonna do the passenger seat too?

I like that the kit comes with the tool to clip the metal clips back on. Nice find, my stupid stock heaters went out so it's good to know there is aftermarket replacements.

Yes. I buy everything off amazon. If it wasn't so damn cold I would have put them in already. Ironic, I need them since it's cold, but it's too cold to put them in.

I'm pretty sure I will go with the Dorman brand. Actually summit racing has the cheapest prices and i will need two kits.
