2960 Views 24 Replies 9 Participants Last post by  05_quick4door
Finally got my heads back, now tearing down the motor putting my cam in and installing the new heads. I wanting to upgrade the injectors and fuel system. I'm going to install 60lb injectors. Having a hard time figuring out which way to go with the fuel pump, any suggestions?

Mods so far:

Magnuson TVS1900 Supercharger, 8 PSI Pulley
Doug Thorley Headers, High Flow Cats, MagnaFlow mufflers
Finish Line 4l65E Transmission
Yank Torque Converter 2800 stall
Vinci Trucker Cam
West Coast Racing Heads

Checking in for dyno video and street run. :D

Also... pics of the truck! It's another white one in the go fast club.
Ahhhh didnt even notice that.
Yeah, I almost wish I didn't paint stripes on it, I want it to be a sleeper.
I will post vids and dyno results when it's all said and done for sure
I don't think the stripes give anything away at all. If anything they attract just enough attention.
I don't really know 475 whp hopefully
I bet it will be more than that if everything is in check. Can't wait to see what it can do. I am betting tq numbers will be close to hp numbers with the better flowing heads.
Heads are on, and cam is in. Bought LS2 60lb injectors, which look like they will work fine with the Magnuson fuel rail and supercharger. I also bought an Aeromotive in tank fuel pump. I'm going to put the engine back together with the original fuel setup first, to make sure it starts and runs fine. Then I will install the new injectors and fuel pump, so I can troubleshoot it easily. I also installed a stronger LS2 cam chain.

I hope so, I get it tuned for the best power all round, not just for peak horsepower. I like the power curve to be flowing not erratic.

This guy might have some ideas --> 2010 GMC Canyon 660whp

Fuel System: Walbro 450 intank pump, Earls fuel filter, Nylon braided -8an feed line, stock feed used as return, FIC 1000cc injectors, Edlebrock billet rails, Holley billet fuel pressure regulator, all AN fittings, y-block feeding both fuel rails

He has the specs in his ad if it is the one I am thinking of. I messaged him a while back and he didn't return my text. Figured he wasn't interested in talking about his truck as much when he knew I was just shooting the cow patty.
Swap the dampener. Every one of the ones like above I have seen explode. Go to the ls3 part number
Timing chain Dampener? Good idea.
yes, the one installed is a death trap.
+1 on wat Cory just said on the chain dampener. Caused my single dowl cam to break the dowl and bend every valve on my old 6.0 canyon.
I like the LS2 timing chain swap.

Funny enough, I mentioned that same mod in another thread and everyone was trying to flame me for mentioning it....
