So today I removed the side moulding on one side of my truck. It took me forever to get the sticky shit off so ill do the other one later. I should have bought the wheel but I didn't. :(
Anyways when I removed the side moulding, BEFORE I put any type of adhesive remover or anything on the truck. I saw this orange-ish color that appears to be under my clear coat. Does anyone have any ideas on a fix?

These pictures were taken after I removed all the sticky.

yep, it's typical for rust to form under our fender flares and our body mouldings because they trap salt and debris and hold water against the paint for extended periods of time. Eventually the paint breaks down and rust starts.

I don't want it to be rust. Tell me something else. It is under the clear coat. Maybe it's because of my naked eye but I can see the clear coat on top of it.
