i just have a magnaflow muffler right now and it starting to annoy me :lol: i like it at times but now the droning is getting to me.

can anyone tell me what's a good quiet aftermarket exhaust?

in running a piece of 3in after the cat into the stock muffler with a turndown (I didnt do it)

I like it, its quiet and when your WOT you just hear loud air rushing.. (intake is much louder)

i got a 50 series deltaflow SUV on mine, its a tad louder than stock. sounds very exotic in my opinion.

i'm trying to make this truck a nice cruising vehicle. i've got access to other cars if i want power and loud noises. ex mustang, z06

so far i've eliminated most of the rattles. i'm gonna insulate the cab next. all i need is a quiet exhaust and i'm set as far as noise reduction.

idk really......i was 16 at the time an just took the truck to an exhaust shop and said make it sound big and mean. ill check when i get a chance.

Try dynomax,had one on my 4.3l and it was nice and mellow
