Welcome to this mess! Lots of good folks here to help you out with any problems you might have. I've got an '04 extended cab. Great truck! 244,000 miles and running like a top. It's definitely a work truck and it has handled everything I've demanded of it, often exceeding it's recommended towing/hauling capacity. Keeps on cruising along. I pull a 20' boat regularly behind it an it hauls an 8' utility trailer on an almost daily basis loaded with construction scraps or lumber. And it's still able to pull my sons F-150's out of the mud when we go to the hunting club! I do have 4X4! They find that pretty embarrassing! My little yellow 5 cylinder Chevy pulling them down a rutty, muddy dirt trail through the woods. I love it!!
