Let me start by saying I'm not looking to start a pissing match with Jeremy or any of the other admins/mods/founders.

The link provided makes note of butt and DYNO testing showing 6 to 10hp gains. I have read every single post in this thread. I have even gone as far as to piece together what blunt1 was saying prior to his posts becoming periods from peoples replies with his posts quoted. I have made every attempt I can think of to find these dyno results and can't find them posted here, on the NEC site where the link is, or elswhere.

I'm not doubting anyones testimonials, but butt dynos are far from accurate ... ask any owner of a stock Civic with a 3 foot wing and a box full of stickers.

Is the DYNO sheet mentioned posted anywherew it can be viewed?

 

supermod, with the ported TB, k&n intake and exhaust, would you reccomend a tune?

 

I will say yes! One you can have the torque management removed(more power) and the speed limiter removed.

I to have a 3.7 and can't believe how much better my truck breathes since putting in a Supermod ported TB! That along with a HP tune from Gerry, my truck runs like it should. Very throttle responsive and shifts very solidly.:thumbup:

I have a brewer/handgunner tb.....curious as to what the difference is?

I will have mine in febuary and getting tuned by gerry. Also cai and flowmaster exhaust. Cant wait to see the gains in the truck.

 

Oh trust me it will be worth it, especially once Gerry works his magic on your PCM!

also on the early 07s, they ran a 3.5 tb on it. later in the year they made another one for the 07 and started running that. so not only is mine superfied, but its for the 3.7.

as your going to the 3.7, is the 3.7 TB backwards capable with the 3.5????

 

Oh hell I'm totally involved in all this.

Right before SESM James mailed me a ported throttle body. Installed it at the meet. Steve tuned the truck the next day. Sadly I didn't drive the truck much to really test out the new addition. I wish I had. I know it made a difference though!

The tune was the wake up call though. Oh. My. God. First off, get rid of torque management. It was the bane of my existence. It's horrible! Second, I don't care who tunes your truck, but get it tuned ASAP. It's immediately noticeable!!! Make sure you let them know what all you've done. CAI, PTB, what octane you use (I stayed at regular).

 

so if i have a 3.5l, would the 3.7l ported TB work for me?

so james do you send us the ported TB and then once we install we send our stock TB back to you??? for 100 bucks + shipping that'd be sweet to do as much as people are talking this mod up.

 

the 3.5 can run the 3.7 high flow...Just drove Codys truck again, Man this is insane!

Or you could just take a drive to NESM '10 and get one in person and we'll help you install it too. Lol. Put a PTB on my truck and was very satisfied trust me its worth it. Glad supermodulation lives on the east coast picked mine up in person and installed it within minutes.

NO I dont think so, these are flow tested, throttle response is enhanced and verified IE linear pot. Give me a call, got some other news to share with ya
