i for one had the TM removed in my truck with a 3.5L 5 SPD and i noticed a big differnce. all the guy did was i think just zeroed all the TM settings. before i felt the tm kick in and now i feel all power when i want it. he used a web site i forget the name and from there he could do a full settings tune + a full wideband tune. problem is he has no dyno but like 3 miles of straight road....soooo thats where his fun comes in lol. BTW i have traction control and you have the option to turn it on or turn it off. my tune cost me $200 with wideband

Greg's Tuning Operation

i have seen you post but never though to look to see where your from haha. we need to meet up sometime and go down together. i still need my wideband finished. dude is good at his job. take a look at the cars he works on....also no video of it but he did a 06 i think it was 900hp twin turbo gto :)

how about removing TM with a 5spd?? .. what are the gains with that.. will i actually be able to tow 2 jetski's up the boat ramp without having to drop the clutch every 2 feet.. lol

sadly thats how it was the last time.. kinda steeper than we first thought.
You'll noticed it. A Tune would really help you out because you have those heavy 31s and steel wheels and only the 4 cyl.

Your in good hands with AVT tuning services.:D

The first thing you'll notice is the power gains and the least effort when accelerating.
There's more than just TM that is involved, They will be correcting your shifting, converter lockup, fuel and tire size etc.. You will notice the before and after:thumbup:
I have a queston, is it possible to purchase a software tune and have them send me a file over the internet and have it flashed into the truck here?? I ask becasue My truck is located in Venezuela, and there are no "real tuners" here for these trucks :ugh:

I live in Michigan and drive on snowy roads all the time. The first thing I do is turn the crap off even if theres a sheet of snow/ice on the road. I thought my engine was f-in up the first time it came on in snowy roads. TC is a good idea on paper, but I dont really see it saving too many accidents. Unless it does something to help braking in the rain. I havent seen it help in the snow. It just kills the engine when trying to do very weak tail whips.

Traction control really helps during ice storms. It is true that nothing is truly 100% effective in all situations and any vehicle can lose control on ice, I am a firm believer in TC in MOST situations. TQ managment is another story, although it is possible to overload the system without it, but that is in extreme cases.

Or a 1976-1980 Dodge Aspen\Plymouth Volare......LOL (sorry I had too).

I've had most of my TM gone with a PCMforLess tune, and the TC is gone with it. I've put 40,000 miles on since the tune with no problems. The firm shifts and almost no TM are great. I outran a Charger (V6 of course) towing my little boat trailer and had a great time being between a toyota pu and F150 from a stoplight, got both of them. I also have only the rear cat and have a homemade cai. and running stock size 225's. When the dealer reflashed it as a favor, it drove sluggish and sloppy, the way it came. I could feel the timing get retarded and the auto trans get soft as I got on it. I couldn't wait to get it retuned.
