Hello, I have a 2008 GMC Canyon Single Cab with a 3.7 that recently experienced a rapid onset rod knock over about a 2 minute window. I've watched a few videos by Badland Industries so it's led me to think that its cylinder #5, but I haven't had the time to look at it, nor do I have the space or place to rebuild an engine. A friend of mine has a working 5.3 out of a 2004 Suburban and will sell it, all of the accessories, the 4l60, harness and ecu for $1500, as well as help me swap it. Is this good in terms of resale? I have no idea if people want 5.3 Colorados, so is it worth the $3-5k to put it in, or should I drop 2-3k for a new 3.7 and go with that?
Thanks for your time, zenny
