I bought 32" All terrains new about three years ago and have had them on my truck for about 20k. There is plenty of tread left, as is to be expected, but I noticed yesterday small shallow cracks between the treads on all four tires. Is this common or a potential issue? Located in Northeast.

Its most likely from our road treatments here in the northeast. Just keep an eye on them and if they start looking like they will crack through swap them.

Its prolly in the surface and not thru yet.Prolly from the sun hitting them.I wouldn't worry about it yet.I noticed the BFG Mall Terrains do it before alot of other tires do but not sure why tho.

Thanks guys for the feedback! I was a little discouraged at first because I was expecting to get at least 40k from these, but the consensus seems to be that it's cosmetic until it gets worse.

You should get well over 40k.

The first set I ever purchased was 32x11.50 on a 1993 F150 4x4. Close to 80,000 miles on the truck before I changed them, maybe 10,000 (I think less) on factory tires.

Of course alignments and rotations and shocks are important.

I got 90,000 miles out of my set of bfg mall terrains. They were dry rotted a little but not bad
