Long time no post. I'm alive :)

So I'm having some retarded electrical issues. Tried and true though, the Nation usually provides answers :salute:

I checked the fuses, the drivers and passenger side grounds on inside of fenders are secure and corrosion free, and I've disconnected battery overnight to reset system, no avail.

Went out to my truck one morning and my headlights quit working but brights were fine. Also lost front passenger door window and lock controls (but rear window still works, and can still lock passenger side with driver side controls and fob).

Any ideas?

Other issues that may be related??
My drivers side running light is out, but its not the bulb. Fuel gauge needle is intermittent, but low fuel message still works. And cruise control is intermittent but I know by brake switch sticks sometimes which probably cancels cruise control. No clue if any of these are related to the main issues above.

Thanks for any help everyone

Maybe the switch on the column is going. High and low beams and cruise are both run by the left switch. I ran an extra wire from the battery to both grounding terminals and it seemed to help. A weak battery could also be causing the windows and locks to act up.
I hope this helps.

This. It sounds like anytime people start having so many electrical issues...new battery is needed. Even if it isn't old I'd say go get it load tested.

Dustin!!!! Man oh man is it good to see that username post on here again. :th_woot:

I 3rd the battery comment. Now I could be wrong but I think there is a relay that both of the low beams share, labeled BEAM SEL or something similar. My friend had this issue on his Trailblazer and it just hit me that you were having the same problem. He checked all fuses and it was fine, but he found out that both low beams share a relay. He replaced it and they worked again.

Also try this if you haven't already.

New Deka Intimidator battery as of a couple months ago, problems came about before replacing the battery. I will try an Optima I have sitting in the garage that was just load tested and passed.

I can run a couple leads to the chassis grounds from the battery to see if that helps too.

I'll try unhooking negative terminal and then unplugging the harness behind passenger kick panel.

lol David. If I keep having problems I'll be on here more haha
As far as headlights, I replaced that relay and my headlights started working again. One problem down, couple more to go. Might drive this thing to 300k if I can figure everything out lol.
