Hi,
some may say I've made something stupid... Maybe. Crazy - much better word. Who buys Hummer H3, 2007, 3.7LLR in 2025? With engine failure?
Yes, I did it, and... love it. Despite blown engine, its a real beauty (if only Hummer could be a beuty...). Looks as it had rolled out from factory 3-4 years ago...
I will try to make it roadworthy again - connecting rod shell blown [yes, yes, crankshaft ist the main problem with this shell, I know, entire engine rebulid, I know]. It's a way to have even better 3.7LLR as it came from factory, free form its issues, for quite a long time.
Keep your fingers crossed, and provide some help, there are some issues and questions yet...

Wish I was in the USA/Canada among those tons of used engines, in perfect condition&low prices. This is the purpose I’m going to undertake such a challenge - rebuild&fix it. Half of a cost of used engine. Rare&very expensive, rarely in really good condition &low(er) mileage especially when it comes to 3.7 2006-2007 version (2008 and later are rather available). Parts&grinding shop - that’s my cost (half of a cost of an used engine, even with customs&taxes and shipping to Europe), and a challenge itself (after years spent in a garage - as a hobby techniczna, but performing all possible repairs) on that particular car. Doing it once, and not touching the engine for few years (valve job, timing, etc).
