i used like 2 or 2.5 yards on my ext cab but i also did my visors

for just a lil more you could do it up in suede. i want to say it cost me like 25 or 30 to do mine in micro fade.

It ain't that bad in person......geez

j/k I used about 3 yards to do my crew cab and visors. I just picked up some fabric from a local fabric store. Everything was half off, got the best suede material they had for 7.50/ yard! The only problem I had with the stuff is it didn't want to stretch well. Looking around in a store kinda opened my eyes to what I really wanted, when comparing the fabrics

That's where I got headliner material for an old Chrysler I had. Color matched perfectly.

well when selecting just regular cloth its really up to your opinion. My fabric I could tell it was nice and thick and the glue wouldn't seep through.

Keep in mind I have ZERO experience and i think mine came out pretty good. and if I had material that stretched better and I took a lil more time glueing it would have came out %100 better!

Most headliner material has a foam rubber backing....Of course if glue is applied with a light touch almost any fabric can be used.

Thats site has some good affordable options!

I'm not set on suade yet, but I like the basic kit they offer. I just want to be rid of the light colored headliners; I think that Charcole color would be ideal!

my suggestion is to buy way too much fabric. cuz you know at some point your gonna want to do your doors, visors, etc. etc. and unless your positive you can find the exact same material again, you might be sol.

i like that this material has a 1/4" foam backing, would make some comfy ass doors, consoles and whatnot.

i got 3.5 yards and did a ton in my reg cab. i'd say 4 yards used sparingly and you'll have enough to last a lifetime haha

Its really easy actually, I just did it for the first time on my visors. I followed the how to, used red suede, came out pretty good. Im planning on doing the headliner in black suede and then doing the pillars, not sure which color yet though.

yeah, on my second visor I felt like a pro, tore the material off the first one and re-applied...looks way better now...maybe do a rough-run with something cheap, and than get into the expensive stuff when you feel you did a good job...just a thought
