I have had H3 seats since 2011. Outstanding mod for me. Stock bucket seats are very flat and do not hold one in any specific place. H3 seats have some side bolster without being "sport seats" with high side bolsters and narrow beam between bolsters. I am built pretty big and they are very well suited to my needs.

We’re your stock seats powered and heated?

 

Neither. H3 seats are not heated. Driver is powered & passenger is manual. On my truck the power plug was present so I just needed to run ground, and I think I had to change connector, but am not sure. Did have to transfer airbag sensors and something else from old seats, if I recall.

 

Aare they a direct replacment, or do modifications need to be made?

 

Other than the transfer of a position sensor (?) and the wiring issues I mentioned, they were a direct fit.
