I am a LS newb, as in never owned one or worked on one. I have a complete setup out of a wrecked Trans am. Wondering how much of it will work and what will have to be pitched to swap it into a 07 Colorado? I know i will need engine mounts and a harness from current performance but what else will be needed? I will probably also look or a set of ebay headers. Will my accessories/oil pan/intake work? What about the ac compressor? I ask these Q's because all i see is 5.3 swap info. Thanks for your time.

harnesses and communications with the other modules in the truck...(if your using cluster, ABS, Body module)
Emissions will be a stickler most states don't like older engines in newer cars.
new upholstery because your gonna ruin the old with the fun...
your guess is good as mine on that 5.7 pan fitting. may need a street rod, Colorado, Hummer pan.
accessories should be good. not sure about the mounting bracket/configuration.
the 5.3 was a option for the 2009-2012 Colorado's so stock parts are out there.
the 5.3 swap and 5.7 swap should be the same effort.
