So as i fix one thing another thing i notice is broke.
Anyone know how to go about fixing this?

my map lights work if i shove the wire in the hole(when connected to mirror), but it seems like that little metal tab is gone... i have another one without a wire hooked up(second to the left) if i can use it, i just dont know how to get it out

Look at the connector closely the metal thingy has a tab that has to be pushed in then it will allow you to remove it from the connector.

so maybe like a toothpick would work?

It is possible that a toothpick could work. Most of the types of tools I have used are ment to slide into the connection with the lead wire to unlock it. Same with locking it in.

do you know how it locks in or what tool i would need?
i tried to push it out and it kinda budges but it definately giving me a tough time

Sorry man I do not. The ones I have are for communication connectors. Let me check some of the sites I use for some tools and see if I can figure out which one it is.

Also I am not sure if this tool works for it or not but found it while doing a quick search. It does some of the connectors listed on the other page.

it looks like a ford wedge lock, thanks for looking it up for me tho i appreciate it. Im going to hit up a few stores and see if they have something similar to it.... its for about 20 gauge wire id say....

A dental pic will work most of the times. I just push the tab in then pull the connector out
