So as you can see I have no bags and this cool looking wheel cover! What are your thoughts, should I keep it the way it is or what?
My truck still has a clear title but it was hit in the rear (I think) It can with a Tn rebuilt sticker but clear title!

Theres a airbag listing on CL in my area right now...$600 for both air bags. Driver and passenger.

I guess one thing about this is I can take the cover off of the wheel and pull the bag out of the pass side if I ever get hit!!! That way it will be totaled by the insurance company hopefully so I can get a 4x4!
I know it's crazy to thing that way but I have to make the best of something that's not!

If you don't install an airbag your insurance policy probably won't cover you in an accident. Licensing of a rebuilt usually includes verifying all vehicle dynamic systems are restored which includes airbags in trucks. After an inspection the FL DoT issues a "rebuilt" plate for the vehicle, your state may do it differently. You should check your vehicle reg's. Any body shop that does this for a living will be able to inform you, or call or look online for the state regs to verify.

^ 1. When I went to tag it at the court house here I told them about it being rebuilt (so I could get out of paying $200) but they said it's not on the title so they couldn't just put rebuilt on the ky title if it wasn't on there before in Tn.
2. I asked my insurance company (usaa) about if my truck had a rebuilt title what will be the difference and they said was the the value of the truck will be lower if I total it!
3. My truck was supposed to be from La then from Tn, I was told it was a flood vehicle but I have no clue. I don't have an extra $50 to get a car fax so I really don't know what to do!

Thanks, guys

screw it.... just get a billet steering wheel for 400 bux.... lol. ima be the odd ball. the quality of work looks good on the recover but to me it doesnt fit the edgy look of the truck. looks to bubbly and at least should run to the junk yard and get a new stock cover for maybe a max of 30 bux....

to be honest u it sounds like you have been jipped.

1. if its a flood vehicle its not worth the poo in my toilet to the insurance company and ull be lucky to get 1000 bux for it.
2. if it is a flood vehicle and ALL of the electrical was not taken out something will prolly go wrong soon.
3. save 25 bux a check and get a car fax.... if it came from a dealer u could have gotten the car fax for free when you was looking at the truck. but there is nothing you can really do now.
4. if it was a flood vehicle get rid of it asap.... seen plenty of them get rebuilt and seen them on the side of the road from electrical problems.... one burst into flames.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a flood truck that was just an option... It was hit in the bed for sure but I'm fine with that!!

My insurance company knows about the trucks history so what ever happens just happens!

I traded my old bagged 2002 S-10 for it. If you had that s10 you would trade to!
The s10 had 135k that only booked at best $4000 and the canyon at the time oF trade booked for $10K+
