I have a stock Colorado, that has been going into reduced power mode only around 40-60 mph. I had the throttle body replaced and the mass air flow, it is still doing it after those two. I don’t know too much about the truck so I’ve been watching some videos about how it might be my 02 sensors but when I went into autozone and they did their own scan they found that it wasn’t those. P00171 and P00068 are the only codes it’s throwing right now, 2 171’s to be exact. It idles really rough and bogs heavily before going into reduced power mode, which has me thinking it might be an exhaust manifold leak. I’ve watched hundreds of videos, I hooked up the vacuum and did the spray bottle but couldn’t find anything. Granted I don’t have a lift so I was crawling on the ground and might have missed a crack or something but to be honest I really don’t know. I’ve been having this problem for awhile now since it shuts off 4-5 times a week. I’m tired of dealing with it so if anyone has any cost effective ways or really anything to get it to just run normally that would be super cool. Thanks

Welcome to the Nation.

If you haven"t already done so, check all of the vacuum tubes connected to the intake resonator/intake manifold. Also check the entire length and connections for the tube that goes from the throttle body to the purge solenoid. Check the two tubes aft of the resonator, one goes from the camshaft cover to the resonator and one goes from the camshaft cover to the intake manifold. Check the hose going to the brake booster.

I am assuming that you do not have any test equipment and are relying on the parts cannon. There could be a problem with the MAP sensor readings. Maybe replace that. About $25 at a Dealer. Suggestion, if you can, don't use aftermarket parts for any sensors. Most are crap and you have no way to check them. You might save five bucks and end up going down another rabbit hole.

Strange that you didn't get a P0121 code. P0068 and P0121 usually set together.
