So me and my friend have this thing that when we get side by side on the highway, we tend to race each other to see who's supreme. Well the other day, we're side by side going at it and in front of me is this Corvette. Well I don't wanna slow down and lose so i split to the next lane and we both pass the corvette at the exact time doing about 95ish (stupid governor). I thought it was pretty sweet because that never happens to us and we actually got to look like we were legit for once! To bad my truck wouldn't go any faster and he ended up beating me but hey, the corvette was the best part :somb:

illegal and dangerous.

doing so in traffic.

passing a Corvette that was driving at normal speeds and being happy about it.

You haven't been driving very long have you?

God bless the governor.

well im not gonna say anything bad, one cause im young and do that kind of stuff.....not saying its safe, but yea i do it....and two because most the guys that yell at u were once young and most likely did it too.....

if your gonna street race...organize and do it right. its still illegal but at least you'll only kill yourselves and not the families just trying to commute.

Ok, yes i'm young and it was probably a bad idea looking back on it but we weren't doing anything stupid.(well other then speeding) It was a straight stretch and there weren't very many cars on the road at all.(maybe 4-5 in the whole half mile or so that we did it on) We weren't doing any weaving or anything, just around the one car. And no we were not street racing, maybe i should have worded that different. It was more or less a test to see who's truck picked up the best. My apologies, i just wanted to see how my truck would run since i hadn't had that time to open her up yet, from now on i'll leave it to the track.

Good idea man. Was mainly the point that I was trying to get across in my post, just in a smart ass way.

Just seen too many people decide to play on roads with others around, blow a tire or lose control and end up causing problems for others that had nothing to do with the person's actions...

HOLY SHIT!

A young MAN that admits he was wrong on a forum, says he honestly will not do it again, AND realize's it was not the smartest move in the first place.

You sir are gonna grow into a man! Not some piece of shit kid that just gets another year older...

Glad you see why it was wrong, and hope that you do n fact keep your word. Tracks are for that.. And welcome to manhood.

Have a feeling your gonna be just fine.

Well thank you sir. Yes i have realized that a have a lot of other things going on in my life and that i don't need to be compounding my situations with some stupid speeding incident that can mess up not only my life but others as well, thanks for your kind words and motivation :salute:

More than welcome. IF more younger people thought like you, Obama wouldnt be prez, and this country wouldnt be so damn screwed up! lol
