very nice. I bnought one from Lime-swap for 6$ I think so I didnt have to mess with the dumb GM stealerships around here. I re-used the gasket off the solenoid valve. the one thing that stops people from doing this IS the codes lol. You will get a P2430 P2431, P2432, and or maybe a P0411

Oh, I know it won't pass CA, and that not all places smog check. But for a person who figures this is the next best thing but also doesn't know it won't pass, they could be in for a shock when it fails at the inspection station.

In addition to that, when it comes time to sell the truck, the buyer won't know and there won't be any codes. So the smog system has been tampered with (illegal) and the fact that it won't throw codes may not be legal either. Whether 1 or 2400 have done it, not saying it's right or wrong, just saying what's on my mind.

(sorry to OP) so have you gotten on the other threads on this site that may have shown how to do things that could possibly be "illegal" and crack down on them? like completely gutting your cats? if not, you need to spend some time monitoring the threads for illegal activity and make sure to let us all know when its happening so we are aware of the consequences of making modifications to our trucks.

just unplug the harness to the motor, still gonna get codes but at least you dont have to listen to it
