I think relocating the torsion bars helps maintain a more stock ride quality. I've read some drivers report that the Tuff Country kit makes the ride quite rough.

Rancho is probably the most popular kit, with the best design.
Skyjacker second.
Tuff Country third.

I have had the Skyjacker kit in my truck for a few years, and have been happy with my choice.

I ended up going Skyjacker. The main reason being I wanted to get as close to the original ride as I could. And two I got a killer deal on the kit and the shocks. I paid just about $1600 for the lift, and four Nitro 8000 shocks.

Sorry I made a mistake. It was actually just over 1400. I forgot I also order a cam and lifter set for my Chevelle when I ordered my lift. It broke down to like 1,200 for the lift, and about 250 for the shocks. I also picked up new hubs, sway bar links, lug nuts, and a few other things.
