Some people are willing to pay more for bigger tires if the look suits their truck. My 285/60R18 Terra Grapplers are a lot more expensive than the factory 265/75R15, but they sure look a lot better imo.

The other option is that the OP's truck is a 2009-present and is incapable of clearing wheels as small as 15's.

 

Mine with a couple of different colors of powder coated 15" steelies.

always liked this truck, if it were slammed, even better.

If I were getting steelies I'd get some from an old c10.
This truck has some old steelies, looks good.

Yes big ditch had my old Titan steelies, they were 18s he had baby moons on them
