Does anybody have any experiance with this box? It's the downfiring box that's designed like the jl stealth box. I was thinking about swapping out my 2 10's under my seat for this set up. I just dont feel comfortable with those subs under the seat even when i have lifted the seat up with 4 washers on each side. any input would be great.

I didn't realise they made a downfire 12" I thought it was a 10". but thanks for your input! I think I might get one soon.

i have a downfire box in my ext cab and i have no complaints about it except for the subs like to smack on the floor sometimes, i had to space my box up a little bit

what kind of subs you all running in this box? I was considering either a new Rockford P2 or just staying with one of my shallow 10" pioneers for awhile. also do you think this would be a better bet? GM CANYON /COLORADO SINGLE 10" REAR CONSOLE

That box has more airspace than the subthump box which i think has .66, it just depends which sub you get since every sub has different requirements. I am running a JL 10w3 in mine hooked to a fosgate punch 500 and love my combo. I wouldnt run that shallow if you can fit a full size in there

the pioneer is actually good anywhere between .35 - .7 cubic feet. So it would sound good in there. It would only be temporary im sure though. have you ever heard a subthump vs a fox box?

but it was loud.
sounds like the sacrifice was worth it lol

and Yes. i have heard a fox box vs a subthump. i have the subthump in mine and my buddy has the fox in his rado, hes not on here though. We had two different subs (he had alpine i had jl) and he had a 300w amp and i have a 500w to mine so i cant really compare because they sounded a lot different. I absolutely love mine and it slams but you really cant go wrong with either because he likes his a lot also. If you cant afford to buy a new sub right now go w/ the pioneer and just save up to get something better. Build it in stages you know?

I can afford to. I just want to make the right choice the first time. I think ill go with the subthump and the new Rockford P2. I had two p2's in my grand prix and they hit really good. any problems with the sub reaching full excersion and hitting the floor?

Yeah that's what i thought it was. I dont really want one of those. I'm pretty sure ill go with the subthump box. I'm really starting to like the way it looks. Just need to find a good sub to pair it with.
