I don't see any pins for the tow/haul switch like the Silverado has.
I wanted to see if i could hook it up.

 

You talking about hooking up a tow/haul switch for the 4L60e in our trucks? This has me very interested.

I think I remember seeing specific wiring diagrams for tow. I will check when I get to work on Monday.

Yes, but the mode has to be in our TCM for it to work.

 

Tow haul goes thtough the bcm I think

 

I know the mode is there because it's called "pattern y" in the transmission shift tables. Really have no idea how it works though. I'll print out everything tow and trans related Monday.

 

I read a thread about adding the "performance switch option" on the HP Tuners forum. It's in the Transmission how to's. It's the same as the tow/haul on trucks. It gives a second set of shift tables.

Cory do you have Efi live? Are you able to tune all the tables and turn off all the codes with it? HP tuners has limited support for T42 TCM, I can hardly do anything with it! On the P12 I can turn off every single Trans code, and there are a lot more trans tables to play with.

 

No just hpt so I can only turn off the codes it populates. I'm not sure how many more there are though because I can make it pass inspection with nothing but a obd port hooked up haha
