Well I had tried to get something rolling earlier and it just seemed like everyone was doing something at different times :shrug: The problem is that colder weather kinda kills the outdoor activity but I do have a furnace up there that works and I should have enough propane for a little while... I'm always game for trip even if it is a one day thing its relatively easy to get there.. If your intrested throw some dates out there to make it happen before to much snow falls unless we want to shoot for a winter trip. If not there is always spring to get up there Let me know!

 

well considering Brad and Josh are the only dropped guys, we as lifter (or somewhat lifted) can have fun in the snow if we want a winter trip. and im sure we can find something to do in the cold... like pitbike racing!!!!!!!

As for a date...I think we should start a poll. Usually works out best. Make like 4 or 5 options and which ever option has the most votes wins. (just ideas: make the pol public and allow people to vote for more then one date.)

 

I got nothin' to add other than pick a date, and I'll sure try my hardest to be there.

 

I see a slight problem with the 27th....
A. Thanksgiving weekend shouldnt be a problem really but availabilities of peoples schedule
B More important is that Laws & Regulations the 29th is the start of antlered deer season now i havent been up there for awhile during this I know previous years things can get a little hairy especially since my land butts up against state game lands with hordes of people trying to set up for sunrise monday morning...:shrug:

This weekend for a day trip -short notice thought I would throw it out there

Jan 29th & 30 Cabin trip/ Radojim B-Day party
We can try for something in feb or march but if snow doesnt melt away and it keeps snowing it going to be a one hella time to get to the cabin....One of those weekends could be spur of the moment with a warmup weekend. Also the more snow there is the tougher its going to be to go explore some of the logging roads....

Another date is Nov 13 &14 I am going to head over there with some of my buddies if you would be interested let me know I'm getting a little tight on space but I am sure we can find room. More than welcome if you want for a one day thing too... or I can always kick some of my friends out lol...

Or we can always shoot for sometime in spring....Those are the options that I have for now

See post #9 those are the dates that i threw out there I would like to aim for the weekend of Dec 11 & 12th Its the weekend after my finals so party! and less chance of anyone being/getting stuck. But any of those dates work for me or should... Jval, Rado, any input??

Do we want to do a weekend or just a one day trip?

 

is a "one day trip" 1 afternoon + night + morning?

 

A one day trip is get there 8-9ish in the morning leave 8-9ish at night but it would probably be earlier since now since the valley I am in usually starts to get dark around 4ish this time of the year.

A weekend trip for me is get up there 10-11ish on sat morning stay the night and then wake up sun eat clean up and hit the road early afternoon or later depending...Although for the 356th meet I was on the road by 9:30 am which btw was a miracle trying to get 3 drunkards up and moving that early :lol: ah good times it amazing what ice cold water, a metal pot, and a spoon can do.


So any input jimbo on the date of Dec 11&12?
