I'm usually really good at sniffing these things out but I cannot pin point this issue.
Sometimes when braking I feel and hear a thump or knock. It moves. Sometimes I feel it center rear like its coming through the floor, then I'll hear and feel it at the front left or right corner.
I notice that its more pronouced when moving from reverse to drive then braking.

Thanks

Have someone help determine what wheel is making the noise. Get them to stand on the curb and drive past and hit the brakes. Could be a warped rotor or drum. Maybe a pad or shoe is shot and the metal is grabbing on a rivit? Something like a return spring broken in the rear, or a stuck part. Maybe pad slap?

Check your caliper bolts, did you recently change your break pads? The same thing happened to me about a month ago, it turned out my brake caliper bolts where coming loose and my calipers were shifting when I was on the brakes causing a knocking and thumping noise

i just fixed a noise on my truck that was bothering me. It moved around and happened when brake, when taking off or on bumps. It was the body mounts making noise. I pulled them apart and put some silicone grease in them and it is quiet as a church mouse now.

I've also had a knocking sound mostly when making right turns or braking and believe I found the problem. The plastic shield in the front driver side was hitting the stabilizer bar. In the picture below the red outlines the corner I cut off and the yellow shows where it was rubbing.
