Those of u running turbos on the 3.5. What's ur set up??

I found a turbo shop here that will do all the work I just need to tell them the set up I wanted.

They twin turboed an extreme, puttin out 700HP with a 3.5.

Mine still in the shop but I used jlaudios log style manifold and a Borg turbo. But I spent less the 2grand on everything. Where using a tial waste gate wit a 8.7bar spring to start.
I want to here more about this twin turbo xtream. Like what trans there using.

probably sequentials, they use a smaller turbo to boost a larger and reduce lag

Yep but lord 700hp on are junk is a metric butt ton! I know our 4l60 couldn't handle it with out a massive build and our poor poor rear end. (butt rape)

go into the forced induction shit talking thread and there is plenty of info on turbo sizing that is all they need to know. You have to decide how much boost and how much power you want to make though. It's really all your decision on what set-up to run.

If i had to guess if they actually did it was on a 5.3.

Do you have a specific question that they need answered? A performance shop should be able to do all of the calculations and figure out what is going to work the best. That is what you are paying them to do after all.

extremes were 4.3 V6s. Stock, they struggled to make 200 hp. I could see them making 700 hp with ...say...40 lbs of boost. Sounds legit to me.

I Mean, it could happen I'm not doubting anyone. But think of the money on the other parts that have nothing to do with the turbos. I don't think our trucks could handle 700hp with out a swap of pretty much everything. I don't know, y'all tell me. I would love to see it tho.

On the S10 they had a 4.3L.

A guy built one a couple years ago that had basically everything custom made for it and was good for something like 800hp. Look up "Syborg TT"
