Re: black box good or no good?

I don't know about the"black box" turtle wax but they used to make a black wax in a bottle that I tried. I am assuming the black box is same stuff. I used it on a '69 chevy c10 with original paint that was quite faded, and my opinion was that it was amazing everone thought i had the truck repainted, really brought the deep tones of the black back....didn't fix the rust holes though. lol. I don't know that it would help a truck this new though I cant see your paint being faded already. I use Maguiers myself.

I don't recommend it, as stated many times above. Email me your mailing address and I'll send you samples of stuff that works.

stay away from anything that has the word "turtle" in it it! 99% of there products contains silicon, if you ever have to repaint anything on or near your trucks you run the risk of fish eyes in the paint, silicon is a body men''s worst night mare! Tape won't stick to it either!!!!!! This goes for the same with amoral!!

using amoral or turtle wax, is pretty much the same as putting 50 weight oil in your knocking engine to get the knock to go away.. will it fix the knock.. no.. will it give you enough time to sell the truck yes!

If you want to restore a completed faded paint-job this will work temporally, but in the long run is worse for it and it will eventually turn a faded white paste on top of the flat paint job?!

Actual paint correction is easier.
Black Box is loaded black dye, so it fills fine swirls and scratches faster than it would if it was clear. But its still only filling/hiding the defects you never want to see again.

For real correction, only use compounds and polishes that are clear coat safe, and not just for one color.
