How will smoke come out the barrel?

Looks cool though.

If I remember correctly the top is sealed and the barrel creates a chimney
effect. Once the smoke starts down the barrel it is drawn through like a horizontal chimney. I have seen a similar setup at a barbecue cookoff and
they vented it horizontally to keep the smoke away from the cooking area.
Did not look like it would work but it does:shrug:

Guess so. Still cool. Wouldn't mind it in my backyard.
