So stock rims with some street tires should hook at the track?

 

My Z85 P235/75R-15 were between 30 and 35. I weighted 'em but forgot what it was. I have pictures in my profile if you want to see which wheels the Z85 wheels are. If you have steel wheels, they will be heavier. My tires were not stock tires though, but stock size.

If you have a Z71, you will have torsion bar suspension. A Z85 has coil spring suspension. I don't know what the W/T truck has, I guess I would assume it to be coils.

Stock z71 chrome 15x7's weighed about 17 lbs plus tire weight. Get some 235/60r15 drag radials.

for tire weights tire rack gives great detailed specs, surprising the differences on same sizes, heavy wheels and tires besides poor mpg and robbing power also pound suspension parts $$$$$
