Ok, so I've decided what wheels I want for my truck, now it's just choosing the size and whatnot. I've pretty much settled for Raceline Renegade 6 wheels, which I've found at various prices, different places.
I'd like to be able to use my current tires, since I've essentially just bought them, but if it's going to work out where I can't, then I'll just have to buy some more! My current tires are 235/75/15's, and naturally, I'm going to be limited to a 15" wheel, which is fine.
But as for everything else, such as backspacing and offset, I'm in the dark. I know I can alter how far each wheel/tire sticks out by changing the backspacing (I think), and I'd like for each wheel/tire to stick out just a little more than the stock wheels do right now. I'd like it to look a little more aggressive, but I don't want them out so far that they're going to sling rocks and shit all over the sides of my truck.
Also, I'm unsure what finish to get. The chrome finish is more expensive, and I don't mind paying for it, but I want to be sure it's what I need. I'll probably be running these wheels during the winter, and I fully intend to keep them sprayed off at least twice a week. A $0.75 car wash spray off is cheap wheel maintainence IMO. I know chrome is more "blingy", but I don't care about that. I just want something that will be easy to care for, and durable during the winters here. if I've gotta spend an evening polishing and buffing during the spring, that's absolutely fine also.
Thanks guys!
