Ok guys im wantin to get some wheel spacers, Im thinkin that if my wheels would stick out a little bit more, It would give my truck a better stance....So i understand some of u dont like wheel spacers, but thats doesnt matter....my question is wat can i run on the stock studs...I dont really want to have 2 sets of studs to have to keep tight...i was thinking maybe 1/2inch? And if any of yall have some u would like to get rid of just liet me know....And maybe a good place where i could order some

Thanks
Cody

you need to maintain a minimum of 7 full turns of the lug nuts onto the studs. you should be able to run about a 1/4" spacer on stock studs.

1/4" is the most I ever did. I wouldnt go anymore. that gives a 1/2" total which helps.

I was, I am just a playful fella man. I normally try to help out koda, and others who ask for it. I knew he didnt understand, so i wa splayin with him,. thats all.

Koda, you can try 3/8"., but man last thing you want is a wheel poppin off cause you didnt provide the lug nutz with enough bolt to effectively lodge and bite into. just sayin, most i would do is teh 1/4". You will notice it man, just not a drastic change, thats all.

well im not lookin for alot, once i get the wider tires, it will stick out a little more, just thought i could get some to give the truck a better stance for now..

Yep, and thats why so many people hate them. But truth is, these damn trucks with six lugs dont have to have them. Ever seen all those work trucks with just two or three lug nutz holding them on. hell my last company would not fix thier damn trucks!!

you will notice it man, its just not gonna make a huge difference, thats all. They are mainly used for brake clearence and stuff like that. Not for making the truck wider. thats what wheel spacing is used for....
