When it is they are replaced there will be a buttload of dielectric grease!
Baton Rouge here .good tips.Had the same problem on my 08 Canyon... First the resister and plug burnt out and I replaced them... Then the blower motor plug burnt up and I replaced but as I was testing the a/c and it was blowing the connector got super hot super fast so I unplugged it and it was already turning black about to burn up again within minutes !! So I took off the a/c filter housing completely under the hood and it allowed me to access the multi prong ground plug bolted to the body. So if you unscrew that supposedly grounded wire harness you will quickly notice that the metal that the ground is bolted to is PAINTED !!!! WTF !!! So the only thing grounding everything in that harness is the threads on that bolt and a thin price of metal... So in short before you replace any resisters, plugs,or harness take that bolt off and sand the paint off of the body behind it to insure a solid ground or you will have issues in the future !!! Sorry for the long rant but I have wasted many hours and hot summer days down here in New Orleans.
