Hey everyone, so ive got a reg cab z85, ive got 3" spindles, and about 2" lift in on cheap shakles, Been wondering, if i wana lift it about 3 inches more all around , what parts would i would i want to get? like is there lifting struts, or whats next? , i know theres body lifts but 3'' would seem like im driven an old blazer, ya know how it looks like the chassi almost drags lol,
So yea, what would be the best option in parts for the extra 3" all around

You can install coil spacers in the front for around 2-2.5" more in the front... the only other option is 5" spindle lift with coil spacers and I'm pretty sure that would require custom UCAs.

For the rear just do SOA with a 1" lift shackle or AAL

Hmmm i like that coil spacer idea, its pretty cheap i think also correct? ive seen them for toyotas for like 40$

whats an SOA and a AAL? ive seen something about helper springs ,would those be a good one to do?

Well SOA is spring over axle conversion... putting the rear leaf spring on top of the axle, which gives about 5-5.5" of lift with stock shackles and no (AALs)

AAL means add a leaf... adding a leaf to the leaf spring packs which provides lift.

helper springs don't add lift

You can get cheap coil spacers like these...2004 2012 GMC Canyon 2WD 2" Coil Spring Lift Spacer | eBay

but won't ride as good as a coil spacer kit like Smaxx or Readylift makes

for the rear you already have 2" shackles right?

You can install the Skyjacker AAL kit for another couple of inches(amount of lift depends on the condition of your leaf springs)

I know this post is a bit old but I am considering raising my 2005 z85. My truck has 110k miles and I'm going to get new shock, struts, and coils. Is there anything else recommended by anybody that may need replacing? Also wouldn't the spring spacers make the shock extrnd slightly longer?
