damn paul...I thought you were looking at a real compressor man. I love the "EXTREME TIRE INFLATION SPEED....0-28psi on a 14" tire in under 2.5 minutes." AWESOME!

Good think draggin is hookin you up. That vair is a hell of a pump. name brand, with good rings and damn near as good as they get. Impact gun? LOL, better get a low pressure one! Have seen it done before on a trail rig...dude had a air tank, welder, two winch'es, 38" tires, front and rear locked, and 4.56 gears. All on a toy truck. Now, after all that...he had no ebrake. LMFAO! It was awesome though..guy saved my ass when I rolled the explorer.

Yea my boy has one n his prelude but hes a dick n wont help me so when he calls me asking for supplies i tell um double price above wholesale n pocket the difference

we used old AC compressors in our jeeps in hawaii, they DEF. come in handy.. if you want man I can whip you up a manifold to run your air lines for your shocks and an output for an air line or run to a small tank.. ask blake.. if he's ever seen a magizine sprinkler board, running pnumatic systems is like second nature for GM's .

you can run a check valve in the line and a relief valve.. so basically the air will only run one way to the shocks and then you can put a relief button in line.. so you'll just hit the button and it'll relieve the air pressure in the shocks, then you just hit the inflation button and it'll just pump the shocks up.

Shitttt steve ty for the info might do that let me know how much to throw u for that i know bagged trucks have their own deflate valve that they run through a seperate tank but wasnt too sure on the set up

I dont want to talk shit so dont think I am..

but if you understand pnumatic diagrams I can draw you one that'll explain the whole thing.. you shouldnt have to run an air tank at all..

but.. if you do want to run air tools, or have the capability to run air tools.. then i WOULD put a tank in. then you can just inflate/deflate off of that.. but what I'm wondering is, how much or often do you actually think you'll be inflating/deflating? is there a reason other than you may want to run air tools off of the truck?

I guess it all depends on what you really want to do.. I Havent paid attention to the boards too much to really see what you've wanted to do.

Previous post i said maybe a impact gun not trying to have a arsenal of tools n my truck just a impact gun just to take tires on n off just n case of a flat or something it would merely b a just n case thing... UFA to u

Deflating n inflating would just b for the shocks all i really want is a way to control the psi in cab so if im about to load some crystal crap then i would jusy press a button n b straight with load cap

yea i got you.. you'd want to go with a tank then.. we rigged up our SCBA's in the fire department to run air tools off of.. you'd get about 60 seconds of continuous use with 1250lb's of air in the bottle.. where'd you want to put the tank? under the frame?

Probably or n the bed with steel cover to hold n place but i may not do that just ideas like i said mainly a in cab control of the shocks with a compressor with the controls n pressure gauges n a console for easy function

well when you get a finite idea hit me up, its a pretty easy thing to whip up for you, you'd probably be best coming up here and we can rape harbor freight for all the nessesary stuff. its mostly just air fittings and shit, you'd have to run a line from each shock with a pressure gauge , relief valve in line, and close it off with a check valve.. so basically air can go in when you're filling them.. but then the check valve closes so you'll get true pressures on your gauges, and then you can adjust from your relief valve, best thing to do would be to get an electronic gate where you just had to push a button and it would open.. then when you took your finger off it would close.. instead of running an actual line all the way to the cab where you'd end up spending almost the same amount of money in air lines. the compressor to the shocks/tank is easy peasy. You'd either run the lines directly to the shocks via a manifold so where you turn the compressor on.. and it'll fill each line in tandem then you cut it off.. and that's what you get.. either that or you can run it to a tank, then you'd run a manifold off and have the same gates that would allow you to bleed the system just allowing air down to the shocks.. and the check valve is what would keep the air in the shocks rather than running back into the lines to the tank. then what I could do which would be kinda cool... is run you a tool fitting to somewhere like your gas cap! so when you needed to show some pimp juice you'd say yeah let me hit that for you... oh watch this baby! BAM quick disconnect right by the gas cap all hidden and shit. that alone would get you some sushi braddah

My shocks r here!!! My shocks r here!!! Steve im thinking of just doing the compressor straight with shocks that other shit sounds sooooo dopeee!!!!!!! But i wouldnt come up with the funds n time im ordering paint tom gonna paint the shocks with the blue of my truck :naughtyd:

getting fancy are we now!

well dude, you can do that and that's no problem.. but remember, you're going to have to rig something up to relieve the pressure from the shocks too. so try to find a push button dump valve, then you'll be set. otherwise you'll just be able to inflate them at the moment.
